A senior constable from the Victoria Police western region has been charged with sexual assault following an internal investigation.
In a statement, Victoria Police confirmed the 33-year-old man had been charged in relation to an alleged incident that took place in 2024 while the member was off duty.
He is due to appear before a court at a later date.
