The new Kingscliff Ambulance Station has officially opened, enhancing frontline emergency care across the Northern Rivers.
NSW Ambulance paramedics, local families, and community members gathered to celebrate the milestone.
The station, part of the NSW Government’s $232 million Rural Ambulance Infrastructure Reconfiguration program, replaces a 65-year-old facility and is located on the new Tweed Valley Hospital campus.
The modern two-level station features advanced facilities including eight internal parking bays including an internal wash bay, administration and office areas, staff rest facilities, gym, logistics and storage areas and on-site parking.
The new Tweed Valley Hospital, which opened earlier this year, complements this facility by offering expanded healthcare services to around 5,000 patients annually.
