A First Constable from the Victoria Police Western region has been charged with pervert the course of justice and traffic offences following an internal investigation.
In a statement, Victoria Police confirmed the 24-year-old man has been charged with one count of pervert the course of justice and traffic offences.
The charges relate to an alleged collision on 18 August last year while the officer was off duty.
He was charged on summons to appear before a magistrates’ court.
