A 49-year-old male senior sergeant from the Queensland Police North Coast Region has been served with a notice to appear in court, charged with sexually assaulting a person whilst off-duty.
In a statement, Queensland Police said the officer has been suspended from the Service and is expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on January 15, 2024, charged with one count of sexual assault.
