A NSW Police civilian employee has been charged with high-range drink driving after being stopped for a random breath test in Castle Hill on Saturday.
In a statement, NSW Police said officers attached to The Hills Police Area Command stopped a ute on Old Northern Road about 12.30am on Saturday, due to the manner of driving.
Officers subjected the driver, a 28-year-old woman, to a roadside breath test which proved positive.
She was arrested and taken to Castle Hill Police Station where a breath analysis returned an alleged reading of 0.182.
The woman, who is employed at a North West Metropolitan Region command, has been charged with high-range PCA offence. She is due to appear in Parramatta Local Court on 10 September.
The woman’s licence has been suspended and NSW Police confirmed her employment status is now under review.
