“We’re proud to be giving students and teachers right across Victoria the modern learning facilities they need to enable them to reach their full potential,” said Minister Hutchins.

Currently known by their interim names, the school designs revealed are:

Black Forest East, Tarneit North and Truganina North primary schools (interim names) will each include a kindergarten on the school site and are set to open in 2024, offering local families a total of 231 new kinder places.

The remaining new primary schools will all have kindergartens next door, either already operational, or to be operational within a year of the school’s opening in 2024.

The Government says delivery of 100 new schools by 2026 is ahead of schedule, with 75 new schools opening between 2019 and 2024.
