A WA Police officer has been airlifted to hospital after the marked vehicle he was travelling in collided with a semi-trailer on the Great Eastern Highway near Northam in the Central Wheatbelt around 11am on Thursday.
Another officer in the Police vehicle was also treated for minor injuries. The driver of the semi-trailer was not injured.
In a second crash involving a Police vehicle yesterday, an 80-year-old woman was seriously injured after her car collided with a marked vehicle responding to an emergency call in Subiaco.
The female driver was taken to hospital, while the officers in the vehicle were not injured.
