VICTORIA POLICE
A leading senior constable from the Victoria Police Western Region has been charged following an internal investigation.
The 65-year-old man has been charged with two counts of false imprisonment and three counts of common law assault, Victoria Police confirmed in a brief statement today.
The charges relate to an alleged incident while on-duty in March 2024.
He will appear before a magistrates’ court at a later date.
