A 44-year-old female senior constable from the Central Region has been served with a notice to appear in court for allegedly inappropriately accessing information.
In a statement, Queensland Police said the officer had been suspended from the Service and is expected to appear in the Emerald Magistrates Court on December 19, charged with one count of computer hacking and misuse.
