Queensland Police are appealing for public assistance for information in relation to a stolen Rural Fire Service Queensland (RFSQ) vehicle.
Initial reports indicate the vehicle was stolen from the Neerdie Queensland Rural Fire Service vehicle shed on Anderleigh Road, Neerdie between 3pm on 10 December and 8am yesterday.
“Unknown people forced entry into the shed, stole the keys to the Neerdie Isuzu Medium Attack six-tonne Fire Truck, and left along Anderleigh Road in the direction of Gunalda,” Queensland Police said in a statement.
The vehicle has since been located (pictured) on a dirt track off Anderleigh Road, Anderleigh.
Police are appealing to the public for any information to assist investigations and to report any sightings of the vehicle to Policelink.
Anyone with relevant vision of the Anderleigh Road, Neerdie area since 3pm yesterday is also urged to contact police.
