Detectives from South Australia Police’s Anti-Corruption Section have arrested a Western District police officer following a lengthy investigation.
The officer is facing a number of charges, including one count of abuse of public office, one count of aggravated stalking and two counts of aggravated assault.
The officer has been suspended with pay and is due to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 10 September.
As the matter is before the courts, no further comment will be made, SAPOL said in a statement.
