A 38-year-old male Police Liaison Officer from North Coast Region has been suspended from the Queensland Police Service (QPS).
In a statement, Queensland Police said the member has been charged with three counts of supplying dangerous drugs and one count of possess property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of a drug offence, allegedly committed while off duty.
“The member has been suspended from the Queensland Police Service and is expected to appear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court on 14 September 2026,” QPS stated.
“In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when a member of the Service faces serious allegations of misconduct. This does not mean that the allegations against the member have been substantiated.”
