Victoria Police has today confirmed a constable from Northern West Metro Region has been charged following an internal investigation.
In a statement, Victoria Police said the 22-year-old man had been charged with common law assault and unlawful assault.
The charges relate to an alleged incident while off-duty in October 2024.
He will appear before a magistrates’ court at a later date.
