A civilian NSW Police Force employee has been charged following an alleged assault, the organisation announced today.
Officers attached to the Barrier Police District were told a 19-year-old woman had allegedly been assaulted at a home in Wilcannia about 4.10pm on Saturday, Police said in a statement.
Following inquiries, a 53-year-old man was arrested and charged with common assault (DV).
The man – attached to a Western Region police district – was granted conditional bail to appear before Wilcannia Local Court on 17 July.
