Planning Advice is now live on the WA Department of Water and Environmental Regulation’s Environment Online platform, streamlining around 1,500 annual referrals into a single platform for water and environmental land use advice.
The new digital addition integrates Planning Advice functionality for both Water and Environmental Land Use onto the platform and includes regional planning advice requests, internal advice for Environmental Protection Assessments as well as general planning advice enquiries. Â
Customers will no longer be able to submit new Water and Environmental Land Use Planning Advice referrals through Water Online. 
The new Planning Advice functionality in Environment Online: 
- streamlines and creates a consistent referral process across Western Australia  Â
- enables customers to track and manage planning advice referrals on the system with an interactive dashboardÂ
- allows customers to submit general questions and enquiries related to planning advice through the platform’s enquiry form. Â
