Victorian Premier, Daniel Andrews, has this morning announced several changes to parliamentary secretary responsibilities.
Darren Cheeseman (pictured, left) will become Parliamentary Secretary for Community Sport.
“He will support Minister Spence with the Government’s extensive work with community sporting codes and clubs as well as the recently announced All Abilities Sport Fund, ensuring this significant new investment is designed and delivered to benefit people with disability and facilitate their participation in sport of all kinds,” the Premier said.
Nina Taylor (pictured, right) will become Parliamentary Secretary for Justice, supporting the Attorney General, Minister Carbines and Minister Erdogan with a range of priorities and projects across the justice portfolios including sexual harm reforms and Aboriginal justice.Â
Iwan Walters will become Parliamentary Secretary for Disability and Carers.
“He will support Minister Blandthorn on projects including engaging with the disability sector during the Commonwealth’s review of the NDIS and assisting with the Social Services Regulation Taskforce,” said Mr Andrews.
