A 32-year-old Northern Territory police officer has been charged with two counts of indecent touching or act, three counts of gross indecency and one count of sexual intercourse without consent, following an incident on 9 November.
In a statement, NT Police said the incident was alleged to have occurred while the officer was off duty at a private residence.
As a result of this incident, the officer has been suspended from duty with pay and was scheduled to appear before the Darwin Local Court today.
