A serving Northern Territory Police Force officer has been charged over alleged fraud offences.
The 33-year-old female Constable has been served a Notice to Appear in relation to fraud offences allegedly committed in the Territory. She is scheduled to appear in Darwin Local Court on 8 September on charges of:
- Financial advantage by deception;
- Forgery;
- Use/utter false document.
In a statement, NT Police said the member is currently on leave with pay.
“The matter remains under investigation. Due to the case being before the courts, no additional information will be provided at this time,” NT Police stated.
