NT Police charge pair over $141,000 fuel theft

Northern Territory Police have charged two men in relation to the theft of around $141,000 worth of fuel in Katherine.

In a statement, NT Police said it will alleged that between October 2024 and November 2025, two men, aged 37 and 51, stole approximately $141,000 worth of fuel using a fob allegedly taken from a business on Zimin Drive, and used at a business in Katherine.

Officers from the Northern Investigations Section arrested both men after executing search warrants on multiple properties in the Katherine region.

Both men have been charged with Theft and bailed to appear in Katherine Local Court on 6 January 2026.
