NT backs business with new guide

The Northern Territory Government today launched the 2023 NT Business Support Guide.

The Guide has been designed to help Territorians during each stage of their business journey, and provides access to a range of grant programs and services.

Minister for Business, Jobs and Training, Paul Kirby said the Territory’s Small Business Champions will be visiting businesses to provide them with a copy of the guide and to discuss the benefits their business can access through the range of available support and funding programs.

“Whether you are starting a business or looking to develop and diversify your workforce and operations, this guide is your one stop shop for business support,” said Minister Kirby.

“Navigating the extensive range of support and funding programs available can be confusing and time-consuming, so the NT Business Support Guide simplifies the process.

“The guide is a great tool to help Territory businesses plan ahead and set new targets for 2023 and will become a go-to for small businesses right across the Territory.”

The guide covers a range of resources available from the Territory Labor Government, the Federal Government and non-government organisations.

“There are so many aspects to growing and maintaining a business, and the business support guide is an excellent tool that has helped me understand the wide range of support and services available,” said Harvest Press business owner, Marian Flynn.

“Having all this information in one guide is extremely valuable and helped to reduce the time searching for all the support options.

“The assistance of the small business champions has been very important – they seek to understand your business and provide specific information to help you grow, listen to your plans and discuss options with you.”
