A female NSW Police civilian employee has been charged with two counts of domestic violence assault.
On Saturday, officers attached to Newcastle City Police District commenced an investigation into an alleged domestic violence assault dating back to March last year.
“Later that day, police arrested a 41-year-old woman at Burwood,” NSW Police said in a statement.
She was charged with two counts of common assault (Domestic Violence) and granted conditional bail to appear at Burwood Local Court on Thursday 19 February.
NSW Police said the woman’s employment status is under review.
