The Victorian Public Sector Commission recently published the Workplace adjustment and arrangement passport and guides designed for everyone across the public sector to use, from employees to managers.
These resources are practical tools to help make our workplaces more accessible, inclusive and equitable. They were co-designed with departments, Victoria Police, employee networks and inclusion experts, reflecting the real experiences of people across the sector, the Commission said in a statement.
The downloadable passport provides a private logbook of workplace adjustments that stays with employees as they move roles or teams, helping reduce the need to repeatedly share personal information and ensuring continuity over time.
The guides, one for managers, one for employees, step through the adjustment process in clear, practical stages, making it easier to start conversations, document arrangements and regularly review what’s working.
With case studies, manager tips and conversation prompts, these resources provide practical support that can be used immediately, the Commission said.
