Experienced industrial relations practitioner, Jaspreet Kaur, has been appointed a Commissioner of the South Australian Employment Tribunal.
Ms Kaur replaces retiring Commissioner Richard Cairney and will commence in the role from early July 2024.
Ms Kaur has significant experience and expertise across the industrial relations system, recently working as an in-house representative at several large South Australian businesses in the private and not-for-profit sectors. She has previously represented workers through the Working Women’s Centre.
“I congratulate Ms Kaur on her appointment as a Commissioner of the SAET,” said SA Industrial Relations Minister, Kyam Maher.
“Ms Kaur’s significant experience across the industrial relations system, in both private sector and public sector disputes, will be a significant asset to the SAET and ensure it can provide high-quality dispute resolution to the community.
“I thank retiring Commissioner Richard Cairney for his contribution as a member of the SAET since his appointment in 2019,” he said.
