The Tasmanian Government has welcomed the appointment of Chris Carbone as the new chief executive of TT-Line, the Spirit of Tasmania ferry service operator.
Minister for Transport, Eric Abetz, said Mr Carbone (pictured) brings a wealth of knowledge to the role, having previously held senior positions at transport and logistics companies.
Mr Carbone joins TT-Line from the Toll Group, where he served as President of Resources & Industrials.
“Mr Carbone’s experience and knowledge will be vital to the future success of TT-Line,” Minister Abetz said.
Mr Carbone will begin in his new role on 12 May.
