A 40-year-old leading senior constable from Victoria’s eastern region has been charged with assault.
The charges relate to incidents which occurred between 2021 and 2023 in Shepparton, while the member was off duty, Victoria Police said in a statement today.
He has been charged with two counts of recklessly cause injury, three counts of intentionally cause injury and four counts of common law assault.
The officer will appear before a court at a later date.
