Victorian Minister for Skills and TAFE, Colin Brooks, has unveiled the first look at designs for the new $55 million Kangan Institute campus in Melton.
The world-class training facility is due to open in 2028 and will have the potential to deliver training to around 800 students per year.
The campus will include workshops for construction, gas fitting, welding, refrigeration and plumbing. There will also be an emerging technologies lab and a cybersecurity simulation space.

“We are one step closer to delivering a brand-new world-class TAFE in Melton – saving locals time and money,” said Minister Brooks.
Kangan Institute CEO, Laura Macpherson said the new campus will be a facility the Melton community can be proud of.
“…Providing contemporary facilities that support hands on learning and real pathways into work.”
“Our Melton campus has been shaped around people and will be a place where locals learn, connect and build pathways without having to travel far,” she said.
