Victorian Premier, Jacinta Allan and Member for Bendigo West, Maree Edwards, have officially opened the Bendigo Health precinct’s new green space.
The opening marks the final stage of the $63.5 million Bendigo Health Clinical Services campus redevelopment.
Following the demolition of old east and north wing towers, a new 4,000 square metre green space has been created. It features more than 1,500 new native plants and trees and a large English elm tree saved throughout the works.
“We’ve delivered a beautiful green space for the community as part of our redevelopment of Bendigo Health,” said Premier Allan.
“This redevelopment is all about making it easier for locals to access the care and support they need without having to travel far from home.”

The Clinical Services Campus, which opened in 2024, brought a range of critical services together into the precinct’s Day Rehabilitation Centre.
It includes a hydrotherapy pool and specialist clinics like outpatient rehabilitation, allied health, dental, mental health, renal dialysis, breast screening and diabetes education.
With all services now under one roof, allied health professionals are benefiting from working closely together – improving health outcomes for their patients to prevent future hospital admissions
“The completion of the Bendigo Health precinct is an exciting and proud occasion for our region,” said Ms Edwards.
