Crime Command officer charged with stalking

A 36-year-old male Sergeant from the Queensland Police Crime Command has been charged with stalking.

In a statement, Queensland Police (QPS) said the officer had been charged with one count of Stalking (Domestic Violence Offence), allegedly committed while off duty.

“The member has been stood down from the Queensland Police Service and is expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on 22 April 2026,” QPS said.

“In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when a member of the Service faces serious allegations of misconduct.

“This does not mean that the allegations against the member have been substantiated.”
