Laura Macpherson will today take the reins of Bendigo Kangan Institute as its new Chief Executive Officer.
The leadership transition marks an exciting chapter for Bendigo Kangan Institute and the organisation’s focus on driving growth, deepening community and industry partnerships, and strengthening impact across the regions served, said Institute chair, Sharan Burrow AC.

“She brings not only deep sector experience and strategic insight, but also a genuine passion for people and communities. We’re thrilled to welcome a leader who understands the heart of our vision and will help us grow our impact across Victoria,” said Ms Burrow.
Ms Macpherson (pictured) is a proven Victorian TAFE CEO having led TAFE Gippsland through a period of strategic growth and strengthened sector impact, evidenced by election to the TAFE Directors Australia and the Victorian TAFE Association Boards. She also brings scale and system-wide experience from her time as Interim CEO at Box Hill Institute and as Executive Director, Strategy & Corporate Services, where she led major ICT and enterprise change programs.

Bendigo Kangan Institute consists of four brands – regional and metropolitan TAFE brands Bendigo TAFE and Kangan Institute, skills assessment agency VETASSESS and learning management platform provider eWorks.
