Another Victorian Labor MP set to depart

Member for Bass, Jordan Crugnale, has this afternoon advised the Victorian Premier that she will not be re-contesting the seat of Bass during next year’s election.

The announcement follows an announcement earlier this week by Member for Pakenham, Emma Vulin, that she would also not be re-contesting her seat.

In a statement, Premier Jacinta Allan said Ms Crugnale (pictured) “embodies Labor values in everything she does”.

Ms Crugnale was elected to the Parliament in 2018, having already served on the Bass Coast Shire Council, and as Mayor.

“Jordan loves the beautiful environment and coastline of Bass,” said the Premier.

“She’s delivered new jetties at Warneet South and North, as well as upgraded boat ramps in Lang Lang, Inverloch, and Tooradin.

“Every day, she has been guided by her values, and her strong sense of community. I hope she’s incredibly proud of her contribution as the Member for Bass.

“I want to send my deep thanks and very best wishes to Jordan and her two boys, Luciano and Augustus,” she said.
