ACT partners with TechnologyOne to transform DA process

The ACT Government and TechnologyOne have partnered to implement its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) enabled solution to deliver greater control and confidence in the development application and other planning processes.

The new application system will deploy TechnologyOne’s software to replace the current eDevelopment system, making the application process faster and enabling users to view progress from initial enquiry and lodgement through to verification and determination.

TechnologyOne says the contact builds on the company’s 36 years of experience in the ACT and its unique experience providing business systems to both governments and local governments across Australia.

TechnologyOne CEO Ed Chung said: “The project is yet another vote of confidence for TechnologyOne, demonstrating our understanding and history of delivering on the needs of government.

“As a local provider competing against multi-national vendors from around the world, we have a proud history of building an advanced business information service system and take great pride in delivering the best value for money for our customers, ensuring taxpayers’ money is retained locally.”

Headquartered in Brisbane and with 400 Australia-based developers, the global software vendor’s solution is trusted by more than 230 Federal and State Government agencies and departments across Australia and New Zealand, including the Tasmanian and Western Australian Governments.

The Australian-made software developer integrates and maintains the latest in innovative security and privacy technologies and exceed the highest Australian standards in security.
