A NSW Police officer has been charged over alleged historic domestic violence offences in Sydney’s west.
In a statement, NSW Police said that in August, Liverpool City Police Area Command commenced an investigation into alleged historic domestic violence offences involving a serving police officer, attached to a specialist command, whilst off duty.
“Police will allege the 45-year-old man intimidated a 47-year-old woman known to him and damaged property inside a house in south west Sydney in 2025,” NSWP stated.
Following inquiries, the man was served with a Court Attendance Notice for destroy or damage property (DV) and stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (domestic).
He is due to appear at Liverpool Local Court on Tuesday 20 October.
NSW Police say the officer’s employment status is under review.
