Police answer call of dial-a-dealer drug network in Sydney’s south

St George Police have charged six people and seized drugs as part of an investigation into a ‘dial-a-dealer’ network allegedly supplying large amounts of methamphetamine in Sydney’s south.

In March, detectives attached to St George Police Area Command commenced Strike Force Chamizal to investigate the supply of methamphetamine across the Peakhurst, Penshurst, Rockdale, Hurstville, Riverwood, Arncliffe, Narwee and surrounding areas.

During the investigation, strike force detectives identified that more than 6kg of methamphetamine had been supplied during 2025 separate drug transactions.

The total methamphetamine supplied during the transactions has an estimated street value of more than $700,000.

Strike force detectives – with assistance from specialist police – executed a number of search warrants at homes in Punchbowl, Bankstown, Rockdale, Leppington, Strathfield and Homebush West this month.

During these search warrants, officers located and seized more than $60,000 cash, 550g of methylamphetamine, 58g of cocaine, 22g of cannabis, steroids, other drug paraphernalia and a number of electronic devices.

Strike force detectives arrested five men – aged 25, 22, 47, and two aged 56 – and a 71-year-old woman.

The 25-year-old – who was taken to Campsie Police Station – was charged with 10 offences:

  • Supply prohibited drug more than or equal to large commercial quantity (two counts)
  • Deal with property proceeds of crime more than or equal to $100,000
  • Deal with property proceeds of crime less than $100,000/more than $5000
  • Organises/conducts/assists drug premises
  • Participate criminal group contribute criminal activity
  • Drive motor vehicle during disqualification period
  • Supply prohibited drug more than indictable/ less than commercial quantity
  • Owner not disclose identity of driver/passenger, and
  • Fail to comply digital evidence access order direction

He was refused bail and appeared before Bankstown Local Court, where he was further refused bail and will appear before Burwood Local Court on Wednesday 21 October.

The 22-year-old – who was taken to Bankstown Police Station – was charged with 13 offences:

  • Supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis (two counts)
  • Deal with property proceeds of crime less than $100,000 & more than $5000 (two counts)
  • Possess prohibited drug (two counts)
  • Supply prohibited drug more than or equal to large commercial quantity
  • Participate criminal group contribute criminal activity
  • Fail to comply digital evidence access order direction
  • Possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit
  • Goods in personal custody suspected stolen (not motor vehicle/vessel)
  • Possess/attempt to, prescribed restricted substance, and
  • Supply prohibited drug more than indictable/less than commercial quantity.

He was refused bail and will appear before Sutherland Local Court on Thursday 15 October.

One 56-year-old man – who was taken to Burwood Police Station – was charged with six offences:

  • Supply prohibited drug more than or equal to large commercial quantity
  • Deal with property proceeds of crime less than $100,000/more than $5000
  • Organises/conducts/assists drug premises
  • Supply prohibited drug more than small/less than or equal to indictable quantity
  • Possess prohibited drug (two counts).

He was refused bail and will appear before Burwood Local Court on Wednesday 21 October.

The 47-year-old man – who was taken to Narellan Police Station – was charged with four offences:

  • Supply prohibited drug more than or equal to commercial quantity
  • Owner/occupier knowingly allow use as drug premises, and
  • Possess prohibited drug (two counts).

He was refused bail and will appear before Burwood Local Court on Wednesday 21 October.

The 71-year-old woman – who was taken to Auburn Police Station – was charged with:

  • Deal with property proceeds of crime less than $100,000/less than $5000
  • Supply prohibited drug more than or equal to commercial quantity
  • Supply prohibited drug more than indictable/less than commercial quantity, and
  • Organises/conducts/assists drug premises

She was refused bail and is next due to appear on 14 October.

The second 56-year-old man was charged with three offences:

  • Deal with property proceeds of crime less than $100,000/less than $5000
  • Supply prohibited drug more than or equal to commercial quantity, and
  • Organises/conducts/assists drug premises

He was refused bail and appeared before Bankstown Local Court yesterday, where he was further refused bail to appear before Burwood Local Court on Wednesday 14 October.
