The Victorian Government has announced the opening a $5 million Multicultural Infrastructure and Security Program to support maintenance works, renovations and security upgrades for multicultural community facilities.
Minister for Multicultural Affairs, Ingrid Stitt said grants of up to $400,000 are available for multifaith and multicultural organisations to upgrade their community spaces.
The Minister said the program recognises the vital role that multicultural and multifaith organisations play in strengthening Victoria’s social fabric and fostering connection and understanding across communities.
“These grants are all about helping to create safe, welcoming places in Victoria where people from all backgrounds can come together, celebrate culture and share traditions,” said Ms Stitt.
“We’re proud to support the communities that make Victoria such a diverse and inclusive place – and we’ll always stand against racism and discrimination in every form.”
Applications open on Monday, 13 October 2025 and close on Monday, 5 January 2026.
